Ann Williams Show, 100, went to meet her Lord and Savior on May 7, 2020 at her home in Johnstown, Colorado. She was born on December 1, 1919 in Mingo Junction, Ohio to Leonard W. Williams and Eva Mae (Clister) Williams.
In 1939, she married Donovan Show (Penn State 1938 graduate). Their only child, Tammy, was born in 1940. They moved frequently, following Don's engineering jobs to Canada, Belgium, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico and many in the United States.
She had many “moments of joy” living with her daughter and son-in-law, taking trips back to the farm in Pennsylvania where she grew up, attending concerts, and being actively involved at Generations Church and Hearty Souls.
Ann’s favorite hymn was “Lead me Gently Home Father” and He did. Her favorite saying was “I love everyone and you’re next.” Everyone who met her believed it. This poem was found in her Bible: I’d like the memories of me to be happy ones. I’d like to leave a lot of smiles when day is done. I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun and remember just the happy times I leave behind when day is done.
Blessed to share in her life are her daughter Tammy, Son-in-law Bob, granddaughter Bonnie Brown MacDonald, and grandson Barry Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ann Show’s name can be sent to:
Crystal Peak Youth Ranch, 19344 Innes Market Road, Bend, OR 97703.
The Billy Graham Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201.
To leave condolences for Ann Show’s family,
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

My great Aunt Ann was such a cherished and respected part of my life. And my mother, Juanita, loved her so very dearly that she gave me the middle name of Ann in her honor. I have been so proud to have that name. She was always so beautiful inside and out, cheerful and generous. I have many wonderful memories but will only share one. When I was in Iraq in 2005, she sent me letters that encouraged and strengthened me so much. I saved them. It is a very sad day for me today as I just found out that she was gone about an hour ago. I can only imagine how you feel, Tammy, Barry and Bonnie. Rest assured I will take care of your daughter/grandma's resting place with all the other family members resting here in PA. Not much comfort now, I know, but all I can really do at this distance. You will be in my prayers in the coming days and weeks.
