Bonnie Lou Lyon (75) passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 in her home in Greeley near her loving husband. Bonnie was born on February 9, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa to Lloyd (Florence) Bloemker. They moved to Greeley two years later, where Bonnie grew up. She attended Greeley High School. She married David Lyon in 1992 at the E-Free Church in Eaton.
Bonnie was a friend to all. She loved being generous and giving gifts to people. She was friendly, kind, nice to others and she never forgot to send a card on your birthday. She was part of a bowling team, danced with the Merry Mixers Square Dancing, collected Precious Moments figurines, loved Disney and worked in the yard. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Laura Stephenson (1999). She is survived by her husband David Lyon of Greeley, her children Michael (Michelle) Stephenson of Eaton, Russell Stephenson of Severance, Step-Children; Cheryl Pelton of Bailey, CO, and Steven (Holly) Lyon of Ft. Collins, CO. She is also survived by her Grandchildren; Ramsey, Raven, Myriah, Mishayla, Kaylee, and Brady, and she had 6 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; Dennis (Carol) Bloemker of Niwot, CO. and Gary (Ann) Bloemker of Brush, CO.
