Donald W.  Peterson
Donald W. Peterson passed away in Greeley on July 29, 2017. He was 89. Don was born January 28, 1928 in Palmer Kansas to Walter & Moyne Peterson.
Don was a longtime member of the Adamson-Warmuth VFW Post #6624 in Evans and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3519 in Lasalle.
Don is survived by his younger brother, Gene Peterson, his two remaining children, Mike Peterson and Marcia McGarvey, as well as 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Frank, his wife of 38 years Shirley A. Peterson, his oldest son Larry Joe Peterson and his oldest daughter Jeanne Louise Manning.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at the Adamson Mortuary, 2000 47th Ave, Greeley followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The Adamson-Warmuth VFW Post #6624 will provide a memorial luncheon in Don’s honor at their post in Evans after the ceremony.
