Obituary

Cameron Philip Jackson was born in Denver, CO on August 26, 1992 to Vicki (Fossen) and Kevin Jackson. He was called home on July 23, 2020. He grew up in Greeley, CO where he graduated from Northridge High School. He attended Aims Community College and was a certified Wildland Fire Fighter. Cameron was also a talented writer, an artist, and enjoyed gaming. He had a community of friends he enjoyed interacting with online. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping, hunting, hiking and fishing with his family. He was an excellent marksman. He spent his life fishing, and while he used many techniques, he was a masterful fly fisherman who’s technique was like watching a ballet. He and his dad (Shane Fossen) enjoyed tying flies, competing to see who could out fish the other, and he passed fishing on to anyone he could. He enjoyed traveling, and spent annual family trips in Yellowstone and countless trips to North Park. Cameron fell in love with the ocean on a road trip driving through the Pacific North West and planned to move there some day. Cameron had a gift for making people laugh, and his smile was both beaming and infectious. There was not a person Cameron met that he wouldn't befriend.
Cameron was a blessing to his family, and was a devoted son, brother, grandson, cousin and uncle. His truest love was for his daughter Arrow Fossen and son, Malakai Jackson. He loved spending time with his children, and was passing on his family traditions to them, taking them hunting and fishing from infancy. He was never happier than when he was fishing with his children. He shared these traditions with Seraphim and Rosabella Garcia, who he loved dearly.

Cameron was preceded in death by his grandmother Carolyn Crawford, and several great grandparents and great uncles and aunts.

Cameron was a blessing who leaves a large family untied in his memory, to honor him and his legacy of love, laughter and his passion for the outdoors. He lives on through his children Arrow and Malakai; his mom and dad, Vicki and Shane Fossen; his father Kevin Jackson; his sisters Richelle Breedlove(Conrad Roadway), Taylor Jackson, Malia Jackson; brother Matthew Breedlove (Teylor Breedlove); Grand Parents Gaylyn and Philip Breedlove and Donna and Gene Fossen; Uncles Philip Breedlove (Lisa Breedlove), Chad Fossen, Ryan Fossen(Sonya Fossen), Blain Fossen (Dria Fossen); Aunt Nikki Janik (JR Janik), his nieces Tucker, Avery and Remi Joe; nephew Wiley, and other siblings and many cousins and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on August 3, 2020 at Adamson Life Celebration Home in Greeley, CO. The family asks that wearing masks and social distancing be observed. Family and friends may leave condolences at www.adamsoncares.com.

Cameron and I knew each other from the neighborhood and middle school. He was such a charismatic and nice boy. I remember teaching a stage fighting workshop to his middle school drama class and he always outdid everyone in the class by adding flips and dialogue to set himself apart! My sister Ashley and I are saddened to hear of his passing. We offer our condolences to his family during this tragedy.
