I have many fond memories of my Aunt Dorothy. So many times spent together at the lake, family gatherings and at church. My Grandmother would take me to church and Aunt Dorothy was always there with her beautiful smile to greet me. Together, we would also clean the church on Saturdays and prepare the programs for the next service. She loved the Lord and her family! She will be missed!

I have such special memories of Aunt Dorothy. She always made time to play games with us as kids and we looked forward to being at her home. Family gatherings were so much fun, filled with laughter and her tasty enchiladas! Even though we were not as close in later years these memories will always be a treasure. I know she is celebrating with our heavenly Father and seeing the beautiful place he has made for her!

My Aunt Dorothy was like a second mom during our childhood years. I have fond memories of mealtimes, of playing games, and of being tickled by her. Her sweet meat empanadas were the absolute best. We lost closeness as the years unfolded. She forever has a special place in my heart. I know she dearly loved God and is, I’m sure, now celebrating in his presence. My most sincere condolences to her brother Clyde, to Sally and Violet, and to her Mares family.
