Obituary

Euphrasia (Vasquez) Ibarra of Severance gained her wings on March 5th, 2021. She was surrounded by the love her family as she took her last breath and found her place in Heaven. Euphraisa was born March 13, 1946 to David and Frances Vasquez in Stamford TX. She grew up in Windsor/Severance area.
She loved watching the Price is Right and Days of our Lives and her Dallas Cowboys. Her interest were gambling, playing bingo and softball, supporting Relay for Life and most of all collecting Elvis Presly memorabilia. Her love of music and dancing was Tex-Mex. She attended many concerts like Little Joe, David Lee Garza, and Freddy Fender
Family was not an important thing… it was her everything. She always looked forward to holidays and birthday gatherings. She never forgot anybody on their special day. She always made sure everyone got a birthday card. She would do anything for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and they all made her smile. She loved to travel and went many places like Texas, New Mexico, Las Vegas, California, and she even took a Tejano Cruise.
Although Euphraisa only completed 6th grade, her work ethic led to many accomplishments. She started out as a migrant worker, farming, and worked at the Great Western Sugar Factory and lastly worked for Eastman Kodak and retired after 36 years.
Euphraisa survived by her daughters Frances Rioz (Benny), Juanita Medina (David) and her son Daniel Ibarra Jr. Her bothers Toby Vasquez (Juanita), Juan Vasquez (Lydia). Her grandchildren: Russell (Angela) Vasquez, Dominik Rioz, April Rioz, Jason Ibarra (Samantha) and Jayme Ibarra, Lucas Ibarra, Andrea Herrera, Destiny Medina, Nicholas Medina. Her great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Joshua, Jaycob Vasquez, Francisco Longoria, Jordan, Quentin, and Jason Jr. Ibarra.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister Amelia Ramirez, and brothers, Richard Rendon, Jerry Rodriquez, Rumaldo, Jesus, Felipe, Vasquez, and Grandson Gabriel Ibarra.
Visitation will be held 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday, March 18th with Recitation of the Rosary at 6 p.m. at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, March 19th at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 1250 7th St, Windsor, CO. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor, CO.
