One of my favorite patients, after retirement we would always connect at church and discuss our hope for the Broncos. George was an avid fan.

I loved my Dad. We just had an amazing relationship and loved each other unconditionally. He was one of my best friends and I will forever miss him. When ever I would call him, he was answer in a big voice " Well Hello" and I would say " Hi Papa!" and he would laugh. I loved his story telling and his flailing his arms (I do it to), he was so aware of what was going on in the world, having read several papers every single morning with his cup of coffee. He was very opinonated, but less so as he got older and was a great person to have a debate with. He loved his family and lived a full life. I am at peace with his passing as he did everything he could to fight, even against his wishes, he fulfilled mine and I thank him dearly for that. Dad....I will see you again one day. Enjoy every minute in heaven and please watch over me. Love you forever. Your daughter and buddy Lori
