Obituary

Glenn A. Wetherington, 83 of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on June 10, 2021 at home. He was born November 9, 1937 in Adel, Georgia to Earl G. and Elizabeth (Sanders) Wetherington. Glenn grew up and graduated high school in Adel.
Glenn served in the Air Force from 1955-1958. He then served for the Merchant Marines. He worked in off shore drilling and later in life worked as a commercial truck driver. On May 30, 1992 he married Melva Chavez in Loveland. Glenn also enjoyed watching baseball and loved his daily trips to McDonalds where he faithfully read his Bible.
He is survived by his wife Melva Wetherington of Greeley; daughter Diana Mininger of Merced, CA; grandchildren Jason Tucker and wife Rebecca, Amberly Ralls and husband Brad, and Kimberly Buhrmann and husband Eric all of Atwater, CA; and 13 great-grandchildren. Glenn also has a sister Peggy Wieland of Sevierville, Tennessee and brother Jimmy Mills of Tampa, Florida. He was preceded by his parents.
Inurnment will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greeley, CO to be used for their school.
