Ladis Gomez, 92, passed away December 25, 2020 at his home in Greeley. He was born December 15, 1928 in Barnesville, CO to Ladislado and Simona (Quintana) Gomez.

He grew up in Barnesville and attended school through the 3rd grade and then had to help his family in the fields.
He married Esther M. Griego on December 9, 1946.

He served in the National Guard and donated his work by making the ramp for Our Lady Of Peace. He co-owned Gomez Masonry and owned a junk yard.

Ladis enjoyed his big garden and being in the outdoors. Family time was most important, hosting BBQ’s and taking long drives. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.

Survivors include his children; Larry Gomez, Dolores Gonzales, David Gomez, Steve Gomez, Gloria Duran, Lucille Ybarra, Frank Gomez, Teresa Gomez and Marlene Garcia, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren as well as sisters; Simma Antuna, Lucie Gurrola, Rufina Duran.

He was preceded in death by his wife; children Teresa Gomez and Reuben Gomez, siblings; Frank Gomez, Annie Vigil, Tana Ornelas, Erlinda Ochoa, Aniseto Gomez, Jose Gomez.

Visitation 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 5 at Adamson. Recitation of the Rosary 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 6 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace. Interment Linn Grove Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences at
