Pamela Jean Vaughn, 61, of Fredrick, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020.
Born on May 15, 1959 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Robert Kick and Jeanette (Kampen) Kick.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Vaughn, mother Jeanette Kick, brother David Kick, daughter and son-in-law Merceda & Joe Griego, and 3 step children, Corey Vaughn, Brook Mittelstedter, Hannah Vaughn and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kick.

Pam was devoted to her family and work. She enjoyed reading, camping, boating and spending quality time with her loved ones.

In Pam’s last days she said, it used to always be, wear nice panties in case you have to go the hospital but now, it’s make sure your tank is full, you never know where you might end up.

A Life Celebration will be at 3:00pm, Monday, January 4, 2021 at Adamson. A reception will be held following the service at the Mason's Event Center, 839 10th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631. Memorial contributions may be made to The Weld County Humane Society in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.

Sorry to learn of cousin Pam's passing. I never got to know her because of sad family history, but that does not mean the connection is not there. The chain was bent, not broken. Love and prayers to her family from mine.

I was privileged to be Pam's doctor. She was a fighter in every sense of the word and loved life with a passion. And forever so stylish and had the most heavenly smile. For doctors, patients can become family and for me losing Pam felt like losing a close family, a loved member of the family. Her life was cut short and it hurts to even think she's gone. I am sorry the the outcome was this. But the beautiful memories I have of her will forever be treasured.

Pam was a wonderful caring soul! She took each of us under her wings and took care of from day one! She will be dearly missed! Love to you Grandma, Ceda and Joe, Harry and family!
